About. 

Our facility is housed in two large, modern warehouses located in North Austin.  We have 80,000 square feet in one facility and 50,000 square feet in the main facility.  We offer custom in-house crate and skid design and construction.  Crating services are offered at our facility or at your location.  Transpak Rigging and Crating provides flexibility to our customers.  We can send a team to your plant for machine tool installation and set-up.  We provide solutions to your project!

Our Vision.

 

Located in Austin, Texas, Transpak Rigging and Crating serves the Austin and Central Texas areas.  Transpak acquired Dixie Rigging & Crating in 2009 and with that acquisition came the superior reputation built by Dixie's Rigging Manager, Louis Hanner.  That level of excellent rigging and crating service continues to be provided to all customers of Transpak in the Austin and Central Texas areas.  

 

We understand that timeliness, dependability and planning is important to our clients and we take pride in doing a job right the first time!

Company Profile.

 

Transpak was founded in San Jose, California in 1952 to provide packaging services to Silicon Valley's emerging electronics industry.  The company has since grown up alongside many of the top names in technology.  

 

In 1969, Transpak was acquired by the Inch family, who have privately owned the company ever since.  Transpak services include complete packaging, crating and logistics worldwide.

 

The Austin Transpak office has been in operation since 2007, beginning primarily as a packaging and crating operation for the semiconductor industry in Austin.  

 

In 2009, Transpak acquired Dixie Rigging and Crating and expanded the services of the company to include professional rigging to industry in Central Texas.
